With great improvements in today’s technology there have been marvelous improvements of the computer. Since the computer serves many functions some extremely needed functions have been incorporated into smaller hand held devices. Some of the products that have been made are the IPad and the Kindle, both are top of the range devices which leaves most of us wondering which is better, thus it comes to iPad Vs. Kindle.
iPad is a product of apple; it is designed to function as a hand held minicomputer hence it is sometimes referred to as a tablet computer. It is a multipurpose device that will allow one to; access the internet, email services, watch and download videos, listen and download music; iTunes, vividly view pictures, read and download I books, gain access to view and search Google maps, manage ones contacts, make notes both personal and public and thousands of applications such as making spread sheets with compatible software that can be found in the I store. iPad runs on a rechargeable battery that has the capability to provide one with service for up to 10 hours. This gadget has also had improvements of wireless technology that allows one to access the internet from anywhere. The other features that are common with iPads are in built speakers that will enable one to hear audio form an I-pad without any external aid. iPad technology also integrates a camera in the product and gives users a means to take photos and record motion pictures. This device uses I phone’s technology and adds more to it since it can even be used with IPad accessories such as; keyboards, earphones with or without microphones and VGA, composite and component connectors. Kindle on the other hand is a product of Amazon, using its kindle software it was mainly designed to allow users to access e-books and digital media.  The kindle has had its functions increased to such that one can; read PDF and kindle books, browse the internet free, download kindle books and PDFs and listen to music, basically the kindle at its best as a reading tool. This tool is thus enhanced to suit the reader in providing, detailed library storage, an LED screen that can be varied to form black background against white text, the capacity to hide the status bar which displays signal coverage and battery power levels, a feature that is associated to only kindle. For easier reading the kindle has reading functions that allows one to bookmark kindle books for easier reading.
In the battle of iPad vs. Kindle the user is the only user can decide which best suits their needs, since both these devices are designed to meet their goals and deliver them to the user in the best light. Since most people are preferring gadgets that can allow one to multitask the iPad seems to be winning the duel for it incorporates both the reading and multimedia utilities, it surpasses the Kindle in such that it can access more book formats than the reading gadget and more to that access the Kindle format books but the vice versa doesn’t hold.
